I'M A VISUAL STORYTELLER.
I've created illustrations for childrens books, magazines, commercial publications, posters, packaging, retail, corporate headquarters, hospitals, murals, advertising and websites. In addition to illustration, I love design. I have developed numerous logos and branding systems for corporations, non-profits, schools, and individuals. A well designed brand and visual voice is important no matter if an organization is extremely large or very small. Just like with illustration, design should also tell a story. When I'm not illustrating or designing, I always try to find opportunities to be creative and be involved with art projects in the community. These are perfect ways to have fun, meet amazing people, and to stretch artistcally by getting out of my comfort zone and taking chances doing things I've never done.

A little bit about me...I am a dad, husband, son, friend, artist, illustrator, designer, storyteller, creator, painter, doodler, builder, fixer, napper, juggler, soccer player, driver, music listener, coach, volunteer, bearcat, voter, fan, lawn mower, traveler, and brownie lover. I have a wonderful wife and two great boys. My wife is a teacher and devours books. I love brownies, no nuts, please. I drove an orange Chevette in high school...it had a sunroof. I enjoy traveling. I love to draw and think of stories. I've worked in Cincinnati, Dayton, San Francisco, Alexandria VA, and Boston. I graduated from the College of Design, Architecture, Art and Planning (DAAP) at the University of Cincinnati. We have a cat. I love to play tennis, soccer, basketball, and golf. I crave grilled cheese sandwiches. I love a good book...now I just need to find time to read it.
